Corbyn won the election and was of course subjected to the media onslaught that many predicted. But it remains to be seen just how many of the Blairites who opposed him will continue to plot against him in the face of the membership's over-whelming mandate they handed to the new leader. Many suspect there will be defections from the party, but the first defection actually came from the Libdems to Labour when a councillor swapped parties.
