Theresa May installed as the new Prime Minister after David Cameron was compelled to resign following the Brexit EU vote. One of the may points of argument against EU membership was that the UK waxs being controlled and dictated to by unaccountable and unelected people in Brussels. So now the UK has gone back to business as usual with the country being governed and dictated to by unelected and largely unaccountable members of the House of Lords - most of whom are only there through accident of birth - at least the EU bureaucrats had to earn their lofty positions. But that's the way the UK operates where hypocrisy appears to be a necessary characteristic for power.
