The overwhelming attitude that clearly resonates among the US electorate is that collectively, Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton are the worst candidates running for the office of US President in many years. In fact the only people who appear to be genuinely enthused are the Trump supporters who would support him whatever he did or said. Even, probably after they have become victims of his attitude to those he judges to be obstacles i.e. anyone who stands in his way of his greed note: see the Aberdeenshire citizens who had lived all their lives on the land by his proposed and now existing golf course. In fact the irony is the many of the very people who are supporting Trump i.e. blue collar workers who have suffered most at the hands of corporate greed are the ones most enthused in this election through their support for Trump.
Hillary Clinton is no catch either as the face of the Wall Street carpetbaggers recent revelations of how the Democratic Party and the powerbrokers in big business work together to feather their own nests show this type of corruption is simply seen as business as usual
Many are rightly terrified at the thought of President Trump and recent interventions from the FBI close to the election have shown that the corruption is not just confined to the public sector. Should Trump win a great portion of blame should be levelled at the Democratic Party that so blatantly engineered Clinton to be their nominee and deny the nation the one chance they had of electing a real chance of change in the form of Bernie Sanders.
